Raised in Spokane, Washington artist Pam Ingalls was inspired by artist parents, studied in Florence, and earned an art degree from the very department her father began at Gonzaga University. The more Pam traveled the world, the more she wanted to paint it. After wide-ranging life explorations, Pam returned to painting with Russian Impressionist Ron Lukas as her mentor. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States, Europe, and Africa, and juried into more than 125 national and international shows.

Pam’s painting may be universal in scope, but each one is a personal statement from her heart. She says: “I feel very lucky to have a good excuse to notice my life with paint. Even the simplest moment (like glancing at silverware on the table) has its own atmosphere - its own story. When I meet a person, walk into a room, or even pick up an orange, I get a certain feeling. There’s an essence that belongs to just that moment. I get to be with that feeling while I attempt to translate it into the poetry of paint. I hope my work inspires people to look twice at the beauty around them … and to find their own way of expressing that.”
